  • Layne Lewis is from Fayetteville, North Carolina.  She graduated from Cape Fear High School in 2020, and was a part of their marching band for six years.  After graduating, she continues to work with the wonderful students in Cape Fear's front ensemble that originally inspired her to teach music.

As a means to become more educated in the marching arts, she performed for the Jersey Surf World Class Drum Corps and Paradigm Percussion as a marimbist in their front ensembles where she learned from their world-class staff.

While studying Music Education at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, she also serves as a front ensemble technician for Paradigm Percussion, Cumberland County Combined Percussion Ensemble and Cape Fear High School.

When she graduates, she plans to teach middle school band and help as many front ensembles as she can. She wishes to grow her studio while maintaining affordable lessons and products to nurture the growing musician.

Simply put by the Jersey Surf,  she wants to  "Share the Love".
